How can I compare the fit of a preloved top?
Lay a similar top that fits you well flat and measure across the chest from armpit to armpit. Compare that with the same measurement in the listing. Check the garment length too, and ask whether a measurement was taken flat if the description is unclear.
Will a vintage size fit like a modern UK size?
Not necessarily. Label sizes can differ by brand, country and era. Use the actual garment measurements, fabric details and cut to judge fit. If the listing only gives a size label, ask for measurements before buying.
What should I look at in the photos?
